Newrise Homes, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rise Companies Corp., is a privately held company that operates one of the largest and fastest growing BFR real estate platforms in the country. With over $1.2B of property assets across 79 communities totaling 4,100 homes, Newrise Homes has developed a leading operating and technology platform specifically for single family rentals.

Rise, with its technology affiliate Fundrise, is one of the fastest growing real estate asset management platforms in the country and the first is a vertically integrated real estate investment and technology platform. Founded in 2012, the Company’s mission has been to build a better financial system with technology. Since inception, Rise has invested in over $7.0B worth of real estate and, as of December 2022, Rise has over $3.25B of equity under management managed through proprietary evergreen, perpetual capital funds across over $5.5B in total property value.

Newrise Homes is a privately held, real estate investment management platform. Rise Companies Advisors is a fund manager with 12 separate proprietary evergreen funds, including three publicly-registered Investment Companies under the 40 Act.

As of December 2022, Rise and its affiliates own more than 14,000 multifamily units, 4,000 single family rental homes, and 2 million square feet of commercial and industrial property. The Company has more than 300 employees, led by Executive and Real Estate teams with an aggregate of over 100 years of commercial real estate experience.

Investing strategy

Rise pursues a diversified investment strategy, investing in multifamily, industrial, housing construction financing, and single family rental properties. Rise Companies Real Estate team invests in, owns and operates across a rapidly growing real estate portfolio. In 2023, Rise expects to acquire an additional $2B of property across its target asset classes.

In 2023, Newrise plans to purchase 5,000 newly-constructed, single-family rental homes totaling over $1.25B in aggregate value. The BFR investments will generally be a combination of complete subdivisions and substantial portions of subdivisions (approximately 40 to 150 housing units per location). Newrise is focused on high-growth markets across the southern U.S. including Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Orlando, Phoenix, Raleigh, San Antonio, and Tampa.
